Cardiology work-up includes:

• Complete physical exam
• Blood pressure
• EKG
• Chest x-rays
• Echocardiogram
• Boarded cardiologist consult report and plan.

Cardiology workups are performed by Dr. Krista Hardy, DVM, CCRT, DABVP (Canine/Feline) and the Best Care Specialty team, Sophie and Alexis. Dr. Hardy underwent extensive training to perform echocardiograms lead by echocardiogram specialists and boarded cardiologists. Best Care Specialty makes up a passionate team with a strong interest in cardiac disease. Our goal is to help keep our community pets hearts Heathy and Happy and to catch cardiac disease early! All work-ups include a boarded cardiologist evaluation and will provide a medical plan going forward to optimize heart health in canines and felines so our pets can continue to spread their LOVE! We offer local service and use the expertise of boarded cardiologist via telemedicine. We are able to communicate with them directly with any unique questions regarding each individual case. All reports will be sent to the owner and patient’s primary veterinarian with medical recommendations going forward.
